DWT-Septic supports the bacteria in your Septic Tank. It improves efficiency and decomposition in the tank. This results in less sludge in the tank, cleaner discharge, and less to no odor nuisance.

DWT-Septic is a biological, non-toxic and non-harmful product for the maintenance of your Septic Tank or IBA. The product works with aerobic microorganisms which are sporulated on a mineral carrier. A natural process, like a kind of hibernation. One gram of DWT-Septic contains more than 10,000 microorganisms, which are 100% intact due to the sporulation technique. This is in contrast to many other methods such as freeze-drying where less than 10% of the microorganisms survive.

DWT-Septic is an insoluble powder. About ten grams should be dosed weekly or bi-weekly into the kitchen or toilet drains. When the product comes into contact with water, the microorganisms will become active. The bacteria will then make their way to the Septic Tank or IBA. The bacteria will break down the excess sludge there. Sludge is food for them. Because this breakdown occurs aerobically, the Septic Tank or IBA will produce less to no odor nuisance and its efficiency will be improved, which reduces the impact on the environment.

By switching to a new packaging we can reduce the amount of plastic used by approximately 90%. The cardboard can be disposed of with the paper waste, and the plastic end caps with the plastic waste.

How much DWT-Septic do I need for my septic tank or IBA?

DWT-Septic cardboard is supplied in a pot with a content of 1 kilo. A family of 5 people will use approximately 1 to 1.5 kg per year.

Difference between DWT-Septic and DWT-Septic+ for use in the septic tank?

Both products are ideally suited for the maintenance of and the solution and prevention of odors in septic tanks and IBAs. The aerobic microorganisms are very effective in breaking down organic material without releasing any odor.

Standard DWT-Septic contains approximately 10,000 bacteria per gram.

For heavily loaded, or already heavily odor-producing septic tanks, there is DWT-Septic+. This product contains an enormous amount of microorganisms, approximately 100,000 per gram. In combination with the unique production method, DWT-Septic+ is a very effective product for the maintenance and support of your septic tank or IBA.
